Ramsey Colts ‘Raiders’ started the new season with a brand-new kit sponsor in the form of ‘Cambridge Safety’. The new kit arrived last week, and was given to players before Saturday’s game. In the first 4 matches of the season (up to end of September) the team have really started to play well together and after two initial losses against stronger teams, they deservedly won the last two, scoring 5 goals, including a hat-trick for striker, Charlie, against Blunham Youth.
They have some tough fixtures coming up in October, but the boys are playing with confidence and will be looking to build on their position in the table
Ramsey Colts has given local boys and girls the opportunity to play grassroots football since they were founded in 1995. The safety and welfare of their young players always comes first, they strive to provide an environment which nurtures and develops individuals, and promotes team spirit. “Win as a team, lose as a team”. Their facilities are provided solely for children and are not shared with any adult club.
