The last year have been a challenge to all of us, with the impact of the COVID outbreak visible in all aspects of everyday life. With social distancing, shielding the mandatory closing of shops, pubs and
restaurants. As we all start to come out of the pandemic glimmers of normality are starting to show but potentially some of the effects will be with us forever. In the last year we at Cambridge Safety have faced the many challenges thrown at us. This includes swapping from face to face to tutorials to live tutorials via Zoom, the cancellation of traditional Nebosh exams and the issuing of five new syllabuses from Nebosh with brand new style open book exams for the General, construction, fire and environmental certificate, as well as the launching of a brand new H&S diploma for H&S professionals.
As we write all out own material this has kept us busy even without us being able to carry out any face to face training. The number of delegates signing up for our distance and eLearning courses has grown, some looking
to enhance their job prospects due to being on furlough or even having to face possible redundancy. Despite all these challenges our pass rates have remained consistent which is great news for us but
also our students, who have persevered with their study.
Based on the current Road Map and risk level now we are anticipating welcoming delegates back to our training centre in September 2021 when we start our next intake. We look forward to having people back in our training centre and will be following any guidance still in place. A few of the changes made to accommodate COVID have actually proved successful so will continue, this includes the provision of
individual lunches where delegates select their sandwich options rather than the traditional buffet lunch, as this has resulted in far less waste food.
We look forward to seeing you in person soon. Contact us today.
