Environmental standards for businesses and organisations develop rapidly in the UK. With more and more industry regulations focusing on the environment, the NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate covers the key issues from waste management, to energy efficiency, and pollution control.
The NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate is an NVQ level three qualification, internationally recognised and considered essential to ensure ecological-friendly methods for production in the business sector.

The course consists of two units : EMC1 Management and Control of Environmental Hazards and EMC2 Environmental Practical Application

Element 1: Foundations in environmental management
Element 2: Environmental management systems
Element 3: Assessing environmental aspects and impacts
Element 4: Planning for and dealing with environmental emergencies
Element 5: Control of emissions to air
Element 6: Control of environmental noise
Element 7: Control of contamination of water sources
Element 8: Control of waste and land use
Element 9: Sources and use of energy and energy efficiency
This is an intensive course designed to suit most industries and targeted at individuals who are responsible for environmental management within an organisation or business, such as health and safety advisors, facilities managers and those responsible for environmental issues within the business.

The NEBOSH Online course offers a flexible approach to learning with a range of interactive elements and resources. You can study at your own pace using our bespoke e-Learning website. We have developed a range of video presentations accessed via YouTube, which delegates have found particularly useful, especially for anyone with a learning disability or where English is not their first language. Feedback and support is given through email or phone call, and you will receive your log-ins and information pack via email once you have paid for your course.

Not to worry, you’ll be able to retake it soon after you get your results. We’ll be on hand to provide the support you need to pass the second time around.
If you pass your exam, you will receive your certificate in the post via recorded delivery. You’ll get one certificate covering both units, demonstrating that you’ve passed the full course. Typically, these are sent out to us within 20 working days of you receiving your results. We will then post the certificate out to you.
Typically, it takes up to 50 days for you to receive your results. NEBOSH will mark your exam paper and send your results to you via email.
Yes, absolutely. You don’t need to know anything about environmental management before you begin – our expert instructors will tell you all you need to know.
This course is an NVQ level three qualification, which is equivalent to two A-levels. It contains two units.
