CLASSROOM COURSE | Information
This intensive yet informative course is run over five days plus one day for the Open Book Exam. The course is run on a day release basis to suit the needs of both student and employer. Delegates are expected to undertake private study and revision outside of the taught lessons, and will need a suitable workplace to undertake the practical submission - aspect and impact assessment.
The course is highly participative with tutor presentations supported by the use of practical exercises, syndicate and group work, video and feedback sessions. Our pass rates consistently exceed the national average.
The course programme begins with an introduction to Environmental legislation, moving on to Environmental Management Systems and concepts of aspects, impacts and impact assessments. Key issues are covered including waste, air pollution, water use and pollution and land contamination.
Our tutors are all practising health and safety professionals, who have over 20 years experience developing, presenting and examining on NEBOSH certificate qualifications. They are able to use their practical hands on experience to support their excellent presentational skills, aiming to make the course both informative and interactive.
