CLASSROOM COURSE | Information

This intensive yet informative course is run over thirteen days with the two examinations on day fourteen. The course is run on a day release basis to suit the needs of both student and employer. Delegates are expected to undertake private study and revision outside of the taught lessons. The course is highly participative with tutor presentations supported by the use of practical exercises, syndicate and group work, video and feedback sessions. Our pass rates consistently exceed the national average.

The course programme begins with the legal background to H&S, with both common and statute law explored. From here the concepts of accidents, hazard, risk and risk assessment are examined, giving delegates an opportunity to complete a range of different risk assessments.

The management of health and safety is covered via sessions on training, communication, information sources and safety management techniques. Specific hazards such as radiation, mechanical lifting, construction, fire, electricity, confined spaces etc. are then explored in detail.

We also provide a complimentary set of the Construction Site Safety GE 700 publication

Day thirteen of each course is spent completing revision and delegates will get the opportunity to practice their exam techniques with a mock examination.

Our tutors are all practising health and safety professionals, who have over 20 years experience developing, presenting and examining NEBOSH qualifications. They are able to use their practical hands on experience to support their excellent presentational skills, aiming to make the course both informative and interactive.
