NEBOSH Diploma | Occupational Health and Safety
The NEBOSH National Diploma in Health and Safety qualification is sought after by many organisations. It is designed to provide knowledge and understanding to aid the development of competency in the field of occupational safety and health. It covers a core of common knowledge which is essential to any health and safety professional whatever industry they work in.
The NEBOSH National Diploma is the flagship NEBOSH award and is the first UK vocational qualification to be developed specifically for health and safety professionals. Since its introduction in 1980, it has become established as the most popular qualification of its kind, with over 18,000 students having successfully gained the Diploma.
To complete the NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety full Diploma qualification, one assessed assignment and three written examinations set by Nebosh must be passed successfully, within five years. You will receive guidance on study techniques, assignment preparation and examination techniques. We have been running this highly successful programme for more than 20 years with pass rates for all three units exceeding national averages consistently. Successful completion of this programme can enable delegates to progress to Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) and full membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (MIIRSM). In addition, it can also lead to being enrolled in the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR).
Delegates are required to enrol with a training centre to study an accredited programme. All enrolment fees are included in the cost of your course.

This focuses on the role of the health and safety practitioner and uses knowledge obtained from the study of element A11, to enable students to demonstrate how they have dealt with real health and safety issues in the workplace.
This assignment is marked by Nebosh markers with four submission dates a year in February, May, August and November for delegates to work towards.

- Healthcare
Delegates should ideally have completed the Nebosh Certificate or an equivalent NVQ level three course prior to joining this Diploma level programme as they are expected to have the underpinning knowledge to build upon during study for their Diploma.
