The new syllabus 2021 Fire Safety Certificate course is taught over five days plus two days for a private study day to complete the risk assessment practical and a day for the Open Book Exam accessed online at home or at a private place of your choice. Full guidance on the Open Book Exam and practical risk assessment which form part of the end assessment are provided. All course material is included in your course price and no pre-reading is required.
The course is run on a day release basis to suit the needs of both student and employer. Delegates are expected to undertake private study and revision outside of the taught lessons.
The course is highly participative with tutor presentations supported by the use of practical exercises, syndicate and group work. You will have access to our extensive range of video presentations and podcasts which you can access anytime during your studies and revision. We write all of our own presentations, course material, and record our own podcasts and videos. Our pass rates consistently exceed the national average, our classroom courses in 2023 had pass rates from 71 to 100%!
Our tutors are all practising health and safety professionals, who have over 25 years experience developing and presenting on NEBOSH Certificate level qualifications. They are able to use their practical hands on experience to support their excellent presentational skills, aiming to make the course both informative and interactive. We have a wide range of delegates attending our courses, from those who haven’t stepped inside a classroom since their teens, those with a range of learning difficulties and those who have recently completed other qualifications. We are well adapted to suit all of our delegates needs and welcome everyone from different work and academic backgrounds.
Light lunch and refreshments are provided during each course day and we have free on site car parking for our delegates, or if this is full a secure car park nearby.
