By the end of this course, you will have acquired the following skills:
- How to identify hazards
- How to assess risks using HSE tools
- How to evaluate risks proportionately
- How to identify control measures
We will also prepare you for the end of course assessment, which typically lasts for up to an hour and begins with a video clip of a real workplace. After watching this, you will be required to complete a risk assessment based on the footage and identify how to manage and prioritise the risks identified.
Upon completion of the assessment, you’ll have learnt practical skills which will help you create a safer working environment. We’ll provide you with feedback on your assessment and conclude the course with a briefing and guidance.
You’ll also receive a NEBOSH award certificate for passing the assessment.
This course has no pre-entry requirements, and is intended for managers, supervisors, SHE champions, union representatives and those who are already involved in health and safety and risk assessments
If you’re new to risk assessment or would simply like a refresher on the most critical aspects of workplace risk assessments, this award is ideal.
