Nebosh Managing Stress : Very relevant information. Taught in a relaxed but thorough way covering all areas in allocated time. Engaged attendees with interactive quizzes etc.
This one-day course introduces delegates to the range of substances covered by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations. It gives an overview of the rules before working logically through the stages of a ‘suitable and sufficient’ COSHH assessment for hazardous chemicals.
On completion of the COSHH Assessor course, delegates will understand how to complete a COSHH assessment correctly. They’ll have gained a wealth of practical knowledge that they can use to help make your workplace safer for everyone – and ensure that your business remains compliant with COSHH regulations.
All of our in-house courses are suitable for up to 12 delegates, making them ideal for businesses looking to train different members of staff cost-effectively in a single session. Like our other in-house courses, the COSHH assessment session can conclude with an optional written assessment to demonstrate how much your team has learned from the day.
This course can be held at our Peterborough Training Centre, in your company if you have a suitable training venue or it can be run live via Zoom if you have a number of team members working remotely.
Who are our COSHH assessor in-house courses for?
Anyone who has been nominated to carry out COSHH assessments at work. There are no prior requirements, making this course ideal for those with no previous experience. At the end of the session, they will have all the knowledge and skills they need to carry out COSHH assessments competently, keeping your team safe and compliant
What does the course cover?
This engaging session can be adapted to cover company-specific chemical procedures and COSHH assessment forms. Alternatively, we will cover the assessment processes and provide a number of example assessment forms for delegates to use after the session.
The course also explores the range of technical and procedural control measures which can be implemented to meet legal requirements – and ensure that the health of employees is not being affected due to the substances they may experience in the workplace.
