The NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate focuses on Fire Safety and is a stand alone qualification at Certificate level.
The syllabus has two assessments, an Open Book Exam accessed online at home, and a Fire Risk Assessment practical. Delegates have 5 years to pass both units.
Holders of the NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate can help their organisation manage and avoid the risk of fire while also meeting the essential fire safety regulations. Fire safety is important – it not only protects people from injury and loss of life, it also helps protect property, assets and investments.
This NEBOSH qualification is perfect for those who have the responsibility of fire safety in the workplace, health and safety managers, fire marshals and employees in suitable industries. The course is broad and builds an understanding of how to manage and coordinate fire risk assessments.
This course can be studied at our training centre in Hampton, Peterborough or you can learn through our e-learning options.
The NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate qualification is designed for people who have fire safety responsibilities in the workplace. It provides the knowledge and understanding, when combined with relevant experience, to carry out an effective fire risk assessment, as well as embed good fire safety practice in the workplace.
The qualification focuses on fire safety but does also explore the risks of explosions which may be relevant where organisations have quantities of dust, powder, flammable gases or vapours.
Holders of this accredited qualification help their organisation to ensure it meets its fire safety responsibilities. Fire safety is important. It protects people from injury and loss of life. It protects your property, your assets and your investment ensuring employees know how to help their employers avoid the damaging and sometimes catastrophic losses that result from fire.
